Radiesse / Ellansé
Injectable collagen biostimulators containing calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres that provide immediate volume and simultaneously stimulate the body to produce its own new collagen — a dual-mechanism approach distinct from hyaluronic acid fillers.
How it works
CaHA microspheres (similar in composition to bone mineral) act as a scaffold that attracts fibroblasts. The immediate gel carrier provides volume, while the CaHA particles stimulate fibroblast proliferation and collagen (type I and III) synthesis over 3–6 months. As particles are gradually resorbed, they leave behind a durable collagen matrix that persists long-term.
