Thermage Eyes / Forma Eyes / RF Blepharoplasty Alternative
Specialised monopolar or fractional RF devices with eye-safe applicators deliver energy to the thin eyelid and periorbital skin, triggering collagen contraction and remodelling to tighten hooded or crepey upper and lower eyelids without surgery.
How it works
RF energy at 1–3MHz penetrates the dermis of the eyelid (which at 0.5–2mm is the thinnest skin on the body) creating a uniform thermal field. Collagen fibres contract immediately at 60°C+ and fibroblasts are stimulated for ongoing neocollagenesis. Applicators designed for periorbital use have smaller contact surfaces, eye shields, and lower energy settings to ensure safe delivery around the orbital area.
Reported benefits
- Upper eyelid hooding reduction without surgery
- Lower eyelid crepiness and fine line improvement
- Periorbital skin tightening
- Brow area tightening and mild lift
- Suitable for mild to moderate eyelid laxity
- No incisions or stitches — no scarring
