Copper
An essential trace mineral. Sold in several salts, which the research does not treat as interchangeable.
How strong is the research?
Not verified evidence
Healthy middle-aged adults with borderline-high cholesterol took copper for 8 weeks. Copper enzyme activity in the blood went up, so they were absorbing it. CRP and the other heart risk markers did not change.
